When I walked down the street just now, I realized that I'm alone again. How irony was that. Who invented the word "promise"? If promise is not just a seven letter word, why do people still break it? And why make a promise when you know you will break it? Do people make promises under subconsciousness?
Then again, there are people who are willing to fall into the trap and believe the 'promise'.
